The Hancock Park Pit 91 project is located at the La Brea Tar Pits on Wilshire Boulevard in the urban area of the City of Los Angeles, operated by the
Natural History Museum.To comply with the Regional Water Quality Control Board stormwater guideline limits, the $2 Million project includes the installation of a lift station containing two submersible pumps to transfer water from the Oil Lake into two existing clarifiers. To address the total maximum daily load and RWQCB  requirement, the project will provide a permanent sewer discharge connection to the City’s sanitary sewer system.
